Rules

We use the ASA Rule book for game play.
Modifications of the rules for our field are listed below.

Mercy rule – 8 runs after 5 innings.

Team listed first will be in first base dugout unless occupied by a team from previous game. Home team determined by coin toss. .
Home team will supply official scorekeeper.

Protests NONE the decision of the field umpire/s will be final.

All games will be 1:30 no new inning – 1:40 drop dead.

Pool games and consolation games may end in a tie.

Clean-up dugout after each game.

Single Elimination games will begin international tie breaker at the expiration of time or after 7 innings, whichever occurs first.

IT IS COMMON COURTESY TO PLAY YOUR CONSOLATION GAME. HOWEVER IF BOTH TEAMS AGREE NOT TO PLAY PLEASE ADVISE A TOURNAMENT DIRECTOR SO THE UMPIRES CAN BE RESCHEDULED.

There will be 3 consolation games played at Winchester Field on Sunday at 10:30am. ALL OTHER GAMES WILL BE PLAYED AT DIAMOND VALLEY SPORTS COMPLEX.

It will be YOUR responsibility to check on your FIRST elimination game time. For 16U results phone Don 714-329-2460. For 18U results phone Jim 714-920-9431 after 7pm but no later than 9pm.

Method for seeding into bracket play: Points: Win=1 Tie=1/2 Loss=0
